The second Lunch @ Millhouse was much enjoyed by 36 members of the community. We had a very interesting talk from Terry Jollly who spoke about Magistrates in the Community. The hall looked bright and cheerful with bright red poinsettias on the tables. Lunch was served by helpers Liz Guest and Linda Watson and was cooked by Philippa Groves
We will meet around six times a year and each time we will have a guest to entertain us in some shape, manner or form!
Our next date is Wednesday 25th January when we are hoping to have a speaker. Cost will be £7 each. Booking in advance is essential as numbers will be limited; transport is also available via the Northern Fells Mini Bus Service by arrangement.
So if you fancy a lunch you do not have to cook yourself, a chat with some friends and neighbours and maybe meet some new faces then give me a call. For more details contact:
The start up of this activity was facilitated by the Northern Fells Village Agent Project
