Do your bit for the community.

Recycle your cans, foil, glass bottles and jars, paper and card, plastics and textiles at your local recycling centre. Through supporting your recycling centre you are supporting your community as well as helping the environment. The recycling centre generates income for use within the community by the parish councils. Eden District Council currently makes payments of £15 per tonne to the parish council for all cans, glass and paper collected at their recycling centre.

(These payments do not apply to paper and card collected through the green box scheme)
